Minting a beat using Arpeggi Studio

If you're wondering why there's been a lack of posts this week it's because I've been captivated by Arpeggi Studio and finally decided to make a full song.

Before starting Apewell, I was a music producer for 4 years but decided to give it up because crypto needed my full focus. I also had recently changed computers and the music software on my old one couldn't transfer over which meant I was stuck without any means of production anyway.

All this being said, I didn't expect to be back producing music within a year of my "retirement" but the inevitability of music NFTs seems to be growing ever closer.

After learning about all the different platforms currently available I came across Arpeggi Studio and it captivated me like no other. I made a post explaining Arpeggi if you haven't had the chance to check it out yet.

The in-browser DAW is a bit restrictive which forces producers to get creative when structuring songs. I liked the challenge - it felt like a puzzle.

After a day of weaving the instruments together this is the beat I came up with:

I just wanted to share this story with you all and show what type of music can be created with this innovative project. There's a bunch of other tracks that have been minted and can be listened to at https://www.arpeggi.io/listen so definitely show them some love!

Now back to the regularly scheduled programming.
